The time has finally arrived. I start the journey anew on Tues, December 19. It has been another flurry of preparations and frustrations. The Jesse luggage bags were damaged beyond repair and so my sticker collection will start over. I owe much to many people in the San Diego community. People I never met before were driving me around San Diego, helping repair my bike and countless other favors. The past three weeks were intended to be pure relaxation by the beach. But, I hardly spent any time on the beach because of the preparations.

My poor Jesse bags are will not be joining me for the rest of the trip.

Here’s Les showing off.

The staff at Alpine Physical Therapy. I was worried what I would find out in Alpine, but these people really know what they are doing and are good people.

There was a lot of work to do.

I had a last minute visitor. Jeff from f650.com is riding Baja for the holidays. He stayed with me for a couple of days and we hope to meet up in Baja Sur.
Cold weather prevented me from enjoying the beach even when I had the time.
