20060801032blog.jpg I met this man on a little side trip to the “Lost Bridge” in southwestern Oregon. He actually invited me to lunch with him and his wife but I had to decline.

The drive out of Crater Lake was nice but I was anxious to hit the coast. I took some side roads south near Upper Klamath Lake and then zig zagged westerly, passing through Grant’s Pass and then over to onto Route 199 which was the recommended road towards the famous California routes 101 and 1 along the coast.

Actually, it was a very bad accident. A refridgerated fish truch crossed the center line hitting the back of a logging truck and some of the trees had rolled off the truck onto the oncoming traffic.
